Thumbs up The "Just Thank Anet" Thread

I want to say HELLO to the entire GW Forum!
This being my first post, and all.

I visit this forum every day, even at work , and love reading the posts, gleaning some knowledge about builds, and everything about the game in general.

Great thread, BTW!
This 44 year old gamer (female) wants to thank Anet for such an exquisitely beautiful, well thought out and executed game!! The character models are gorgeous, the dances laugh out loud funny, yet beautifully done, and love the gameplay!
(You young ones are not the only ones who play this game LOL )

I play every single day, and have not had a moment's boredom with GW at all.

The events were awesome (I did not miss one yet)! You guys work incredibly hard to have given us for free all the extra content you have (and still do). I am like a little kid that gets excited when I see something new has been added to the game and of course must check it out and get into it like most players do! Anet, you have most certainly spoiled the whole lot of us, and I for one LOVE you guys for it! I will buy every chapter that comes out that is a promise!
/hugsandkisses

P.S. Gaile Gray, I am a huge fan of yours! You listen to what we have to say, and you show not only your love for the game but for us as well.

Thank you A-net for the effort, time, and money you put into a very low cost game.

Thank you for fixing a game quickly and not dragging your feet (Diablo2 players know what its like when you don't, GD Blizzard sucks).

Thank you for adding tons of content when you don't get monthly fees.

Thank you for listening to your fans.

Thank you for everything(the only rpg I like better is Elder Scrolls 3 and 4 I'm sure when it comes out).

Thanks for SHOVING IT IN BLIZZARD'S FACE and showing them it doesn't take a fee to beat WoW.

Yep, same here, I love the game and my wife does too, we play together and enjoyed from the first day we got the game.

As far as I am concerned, Anet has done a great job and its also good to see that they keep actively developing on it & tweaking the game.

As far as nerfs go, they've never bothered me in the slightest so obviously they havent nerfed enough

I still remeber the fascination and wonder when I first saw the game Pong in the local mall (yes I am "old"). As I grew so did the games. Galaga, Pac Man and Defender just to name a few over the past few decades. Needless to say I've been a vidoe game lover since early childhood.

Then home gaming became available and it was like heaven on earth. All the great titles from Commadore 64 days to the present are amazing in their own right.

I never payed a monthly fee for a game. Something just kinda silly about that whole idea in my opinion. And then a friend at work suggested Guild Wars. He was in the beta and spoke highly of the title. So in May of 2005 I logged on.
With my second account recently purchased I have completed the six core characters.

I have played so many different games over the years but none has ever had such a hold on me. No need for me to re-state all the previous compliments as I am in total agreement. And the broad range of skills and character combinations keeps you looking for that ultimate complimentary build. The new additions for GW2 are eagerly awaited.

But the one thing this game has above all others. The guild of Knights and Heros (Beer). The game quality is tremendously more absorbing due to the friends I have made through Guild Wars and Knights and Heros. When I log on it's a truly relaxing experience to talk and laugh with the guildies.

To tell you the truth I can't wait to get home and log on. And that desire is as strong today as it was ten months ago.

Thanks to everyone at ANet!

Simply amazing job has Anet been doing to this game. I have enjoyed every bit of the game (PvE, PvP, everything) for the last 8 months and still enjoy playing it on a day to day basis. I'm so looking forward to Factions and the new continent Cantha, can't wait. Thank you Anet, and keep up your excellent work!

How can the OP say that there aren't any "Thank Anet" threads. I see people praise ANET every day on these boards. How can another thread of the obvious make any much more difference than daily praises?
